The Spanish capital is preparing to become, for a week next October, the nerve center of world amateur padelMore than 600 players from all over the world are expected to participate in the first edition of the World Festival of Padel, a unique event created by Playground.
Much more than just a tournament: an immersive adventure
Unlike classic competitions, this meeting is aimed at exclusively for amateur players, with a strong promise: experience padel like professionals.
For seven days, participants will enjoy a comprehensive program:
- Matches in a professional setting,
- Personalized Coaching,
- Medical monitoring,
- Diet adapted to sports practice,
- And even a partner villages lively with concerts, food trucks, brand events and much more.
"Amateur padel is experiencing exceptional growth worldwide. Yet, few events truly place the player at the heart of the experience. With this festival, we want to offer much more than a tournament: a true human, cultural, and sporting journey," explains the Playground organizing team.

A format designed for pleasure and performance
The event will feature a duplicate registration, with three male categories and three female categories, And a progressive format thought for increase playing time while maintaining a high level of pleasure.
Each player will receive a exclusive welcome pack, will benefit from a professional audiovisual coverage (quality photos and videos to relive the highlights), and will have access to a parallel cultural program to discover Madrid differently.
Madrid, world capital of amateur padel
Why Madrid? Because the city unites all assets : a historic passion for padel, excellent accessibility from all over Europe, and a rich cultural offering. The prestigious club The Student was chosen as the official site. It has 40 padel courts, 12 tennis, 80 golf stations, and many other activities, in a unique setting.
The festival also aims to be itinerant, with several stages planned in other European countries via the Promotour, particularly in France, Italy, Spain and Luxembourg.
