LeDap is pursuing its international development strategy by attacking the Middle East this time. The group bought the company A Team Experience located in Abu Dhabi.
Initially focused on Europe, LeDap's international development plan is beginning to take shape in the eyes of the general public. By forming a partnership with A Team Experience, the aim is to accelerate the growth of padel in this region of the world. The first centre opened this week on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi , and will be followed by several other locations throughout 2022.
According to Pontus Gustafsson, CEO of LeDap Group: “ This is an important milestone for LeDap, as we are now taking our first step with international expansion outside of Europe, in line with our mission to make the Padel accessible to everyone. Interest in the sport is growing rapidly in the Middle East and with A Team Experience we have found the right local business partner to drive our expansion in the region. "
If we have to talk about A Team Experience, we can see that the firm has adopted a structured approach to developing the Padel in Abu Dhabi focusing on creating unique sports facilities in key locations . The ambition is to create active meeting places that combine sport, health and social encounters.
To recontextualize this event, it is necessary to know that LeDap partnered directly with A Team Experience founder Frants Steynberg (CEO), as well as Marcus Ulander and Magnus Olsson (co-founders) . They will remain significant shareholders and continue to manage day-to-day operations locally. And the founder of A Team Experience, Frants Steynberg, is rave about LeDap: “ We have a clear vision of how we want to develop Padel in Abu Dhabi and the region. By partnering with LeDap, we have access to their proven knowledge, concept and infrastructure, and we can grow even faster. ".
Passionate about football, I discovered padel in 2019. Since then, I have been crazy in love with this sport to the point of abandoning my favorite sport.
