On November 13, Bordeaux will host the first edition of the Assizes of the Padel, an event which aims to bring together all the players in the sector around round tables, conferences and moments of exchange.
At the initiative of this project: Pierre-Emmanuel Gillaizeau, founder ofAP Padel, the company behind the magazine Paddiction.
From the world of automobiles to that of padel
After a career in the automotive sector, notably in data and commercial performance, Pierre-Emmanuel Gillaizeau decided, at the end of 2024, to devote himself to another passion: padel.
“I have always loved this sport for its energy and conviviality. In 2024, I wanted to dedicate my time and energy to it by creating AP Padel "He says.
The first project of this young structure takes the form of a specialized media, Paddiction, intended to cover the world of padel in all its aspects: business, innovation, equipment, well-being and even training.
The idea of a place of exchange for the entire ecosystem
Over the course of the meetings, the AP team Padel noted a lack: that of a unifying space where all stakeholders – clubs, equipment manufacturers, institutions, service providers or media – could dialogue and build together.
From this observation was born the idea of Assizes of the Padel, presented as a moment of collective and prospective reflection, serving the development of the discipline in France.
A first edition in Bordeaux
This first edition will be held on November 13, 2025 in Bordeaux.
The program is planned conferences, round tables and expert presentations, around structuring themes: the padel business, health, digital, training, equipment and innovation.
"Our ambition is to encourage exchanges and create concrete synergies between all the players in padel. It's a meeting that is both useful and constructive," emphasizes Pierre-Emmanuel Gillaizeau.

A media partnership with Padel Magazine
To support the launch of the event, AP Padel team up with Padel Magazine as part of a media partnership.
“It’s a natural collaboration,” explains the founder. Padel Magazine is a benchmark in the French padel media landscape. Together, we want to promote the event and highlight the initiatives of those who advance padel on a daily basis.
A call for participation
On registrations are already open.
Clubs, teachers, brands, investors or simply enthusiasts: everyone can participate in this new meeting which aims to become a focal point for French padel.
All practical information is available on the official website: The Assizes of the Padel – #1 | PBC.
Towards a collective structuring of French padel
“Padel has considerable potential, but it needs coordination and dialogue. The Assises du Padel want to contribute to this dynamic, in a spirit of collaboration and sharing,” concludes Pierre-Emmanuel Gillaizeau.
The appointment is therefore made for the November 13 in Bordeaux, with the aim of writing a new page in the structuring of padel in France.
