After giving technical TIPS on simple defense in her previous tutorial, in this tutorial she dissects all the possible scenarios when the ball arrives from the diagonal into your defensive corner.

It is important in padel to quickly read the trajectory of the ball not to run after the ball but on the contrary to know how to anticipate to position yourself well. There are also mnemonic devices in padel to know when to turn and in which direction to turn depending on the ball that arrives. We all dream of twirling like Paquito ou Chingotto For example. It exists 5 categories of balls who arrive near the corner (case of the left player):

For each of these possibilities, Laura gives you a tip to know how to detect that it is indeed this ball, how to move and in particular to know whether to turn or not and finally how to impact the ball.
