Combat sports  can offer several advantages  to play padel . Here are some reasons why practicing combat sports can be beneficial for padel players:

  1.  Physical condition  : Combat sports require excellent physical condition, including strength, endurance, flexibility and agility. These qualities are also important for padel.
  2.  Fast reflexes  : Combat sports develop quick reflexes and excellent hand-eye coordination, essential for reacting quickly to balls in padel.
  3.  Focus and strategy  : Concentration and the ability to strategize are crucial in combat sports and can be very beneficial in padel, where quick decision-making is necessary.
  4.  Competitive mentality  : Combat sports cultivate a competitive and resilient mentality. This attitude can help padel players stay focused and determined during matches.
  5.  Balance and mobility  : The techniques used in combat sports improve balance and mobility, which is useful for moving quickly and efficiently on the padel court.
  6.  Stress management  : Combat sports teach how to manage stress and pressure, a valuable skill for padel competitions.

And besides, we also see some fighters embarking on the adventure of padel. We immediately think of one of the most famous sportsmen in France, the judoka Teddy Riner, who was involved alongside the former basketball player Tony Parker during the stage of World Padel Tour which took place in Toulouse in 2022 and 2023 (Human Padel open).

If, for the moment, the Guadeloupean remains focused on his career, we could very certainly see him on a padel court when he ends his sporting career.

Under the tone of humor obviously, we were able to see during the Bullpadel Show 06, the Cartman/Jarry pair offer us some takes clearly borrowed from martial arts. We won't tell you if the result was convincing, but the public appreciated it, and that's the most important thing!
