Day two of the FIP Junior Euro group stage Padel The Cup has concluded in Porto. The boys secured their second consecutive victory against the Netherlands (3-0), while the girls suffered a defeat against Sweden (2-1). As a result, the French girls will play for their place in the semi-finals in a decisive final group match against Italy. The boys, meanwhile, will attempt to maintain their top spot in their group against Belgium. 

The boys continue with authority

After their prestigious victory against Italy on the first day, the French U21s confirmed their form against the Netherlands, who had been beaten by Belgium the day before.

 Jeremy Robert  et  Olivier Guy de Chamisso  concluded the match perfectly by winning  6 / 2 6 / 2  face  Jans  et  Hermus .

The second French pair proved to be even more expeditious.  Gabriel Bessiere  et  Sacha Devriendt  inflicted a stinging  6 / 0 6 / 0  à  Schuffelen  et  Van Gent. 

Finally  Sacha Huard from La Marre  et  Nathan Perrot  got the job done with a victory  6 / 1 6 / 2  salary.  Schunselaar  et  Holthuis .

With this 3-0 victory, the French continue their flawless run and approach their final group stage match in the best possible conditions.

The French U20 women's team falls to Sweden

After their resounding victory against Estonia, the French women faced their first real test against Sweden.

 Elise Le Roux and Lylwenn Laforge  opened the debates in the face of  Stromgren and Linge Despite putting up a good fight, the French women were defeated.  6 / 3 6 / 4 allowing the Swedish women to take the lead.

 Zia Debroy and Augustine Charpentier  then leveled the score between the two teams with a convincing victory.  7 / 5 6 / 4  face  Teikari and Killman .

Everything therefore came down to the third and final match.  Victoria Isaac and Lison Chrétien Meal  Unfortunately, they were unable to turn the tide of the confrontation, and lost.  6 / 3 6 / 1  face  Kjaergaard and Andersson .

Sweden ultimately prevails  2 - 1 , now forcing the French U20 team to pull off a feat against Italy in their last group match to hope to reach the semi-finals.

This defeat does not condemn the French U20 women's team, but it now places them in front of an immense challenge.  The French women will face Italy, the group winners, in their last group match with a place in the semi-finals in sight. 

For the boys, the goal will be to finish this first phase on a high note. The Bleuets will challenge  Belgium , surprising winner against Italy, to try to retain first place in their group and complete this group phase with a perfect record.
