In the Defense clubs, and more particularly within the Gendarmerie, the  paddle  is experiencing a rapid rise, gaining ground beyond the civilian world.

In May 2024, a first tournament was organized by  Samir Najimi , technical advisor to the FCD North-East league, at  4Padel Strasbourg . This event aimed to mark the beginning of the structuring of the discipline in the Defense clubs and various institutions. This success inspired the creation of several other tournaments, with projects in progress, notably in  Valenciennes  et  Bordeaux   for next spring.

More recently, the  2nd edition of the French Government Forces Championship  (firefighters, gendarmes, police officers, customs officers, military) took place at  4Padel from Metz , where 24 pairs competed, including players among the top 1000 French players. Organized by  Franck Airos , responsible for the Metz padel section, this meeting was a success and will be repeated next season.

In addition, this season will also mark the registration of the first padel team representing the  Grand-Est Gendarmerie region  ,  Padel Business League .
