Another busy week for the French on the  FIP Tour , with French athletes competing on  three international tournaments  : the  FIP Bronze Houten in the Netherlands ,  FIP Silver Abidjan  in Ivory Coast and especially the  FIP Gold Almaty  in Kazakhstan, the biggest event of the week.

FIP Bronze Houten: strong French presence in the men's category

This is clearly the tournament where we will find the most French players this week.

To  Netherlands Several tricolor or semi-tricolor pairs will try to achieve a good run in a rather open draw.

Among the duos to watch are:

  •  Johan Bergeron / Timéo Fonteny
  •  Yoan Boronad / Nicolas Zurita
  •  Maxime Joris / Giulio Graziotti
  •  Bastien Blanqué / Maxime Deloyer
  •  Arthur Hugounenq / Jérémy Robert

Several associations clearly deserve close attention.

A pair to watch:  Maxime Joris who embarks on a  new association with the Italian Giulio Graziotti A duo to watch closely to see if they connect quickly.

Finally, there will also be a rather intriguing pair on paper with  Bastien Blanqué and the Belgian Maxime Deloyer , former Belgian number 1.

French players also in the qualifiers in the Netherlands

qualifications  They will also be well represented on the French side, with several pairs entered:

  •  Thomas Seux / Nathan Courrin
  •  Lucas Pillon / Guy de Chamisso
  •  Tristan Piombo / Arthaud Dumoulin

All these duos will try to secure a place in the  main board .

In the women's category: only one Frenchwoman competing in the Netherlands

In the  female painting The French presence will be much more discreet at this Dutch tournament.

The following will only be found in qualifying:

  •  Amélie Detrivière / Carmen Ibáñez Diaz

FIP Silver Abidjan: Colombon headlines among the French women

The side of  FIP Silver Abidjan The French delegation will be more limited among men, but interesting among women.

For men: some French players to watch

The men's table will include, among others:

  •  Julien Biron with the Belgian Hamza Berrahou

A pair to watch in a tournament that could offer opportunities, with the presence of some more local French players in the draw.

In the women's category: Alix Collombon arrives with ambition.

The real French headliner of the week in Abidjan is obviously:

  •  Alix Collombon / Jana Montes,  They will be seeded 2 in this tournament with the ambition of winning the title.

FIP Gold Almaty: the big event of the week

This is probably the most competitive tournament of the week on the  FIP Tour  : the  FIP Gold Almaty in Kazakhstan.

On the French side, two cases will need to be closely monitored.

In the men's category: Seurin and Vanbauce in a strong showing

In the men's table, we will find:

  •  Julien Seurin / Thomas Vanbauce

The two Frenchmen will be  pair number 16  of this tournament, in a draw that is necessarily denser and more demanding.

For the ladies: Merrah and Razafindranaly   TBC

In the women's table, we will also follow:

  •  Steffi Merrah / Julie Razafindranaly

Both players arrive with good momentum after their  very good run at the FIP Bronze Hong Kong and will try to extend this positive run in a necessarily more challenging context.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
