The end of the season is always an important moment in the year of a professional padel player. The tournaments follow one after the other, bodies get tired and for the top 20 women and men, we are entering a little more into the race for the Master Final in Barcelona.
This year, for both men and women, the battle is raging and the slightest point won can have an impact on the final decision... For the men, Alex Ruiz, Lucas Bergamini, Alex Arroyo or, paul cardona are engaged in a fierce war to obtain the final qualifying place for the Masters.
It seems like Fernando Belasteguin is already out of the running to obtain this 16th place in the world.
In the women's category, Aranzazu Osoro is the last possible qualifier for the Master Final in Barcelona. But beware, the competition is tough and there is a jostling behind, with only one goal: to overtake her. Tamara Icardo leads the revolt, followed by Virginia Riera or, Alejandra Alonso.
In this part of the season, points count double, as all of them can have their importance on the final standings. At the moment, there is one Major and one P1 left, as well as a FIP Platinum in Mexico, where 250 points are up for grabs. Obviously, we find players in the race for the last competition of the year which will take place in December.
We must not miss anything at the end of this season which promises to be thrilling. Despite the fatigue, the players will give their all to end this year in style... to the great delight of the fans!
It was her brother who one day told her to accompany him to a padel court, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the retransmission of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
