The practice of padel is experiencing a remarkable boom, accompanied by a growing popularity on a global scale. Today, this sport brings together more than 30 million followers spread across 150 countries. The circuit Premier Padel also experienced a spectacular expansion, going from 8 tournaments in 2022 to 24 in 2025, organized in various regions of the globe, attracting ever-increasing crowds. Now, padel is turning to other markets, even attracting renowned professional athletes, such as Kevin Love (NBA) or Sergio Busquets (MLS).
The Huddl, this new type of complex
If you are passionate about padel and you find yourself in the west of France, do not miss visiting the complex The Huddl, located in La Roche-sur-Yon in Vendée. Inaugurated at the end of last November, this unique place combines sport and business by providing rooms specially designed to accommodate companies and professionals.
The complex offers three sports disciplines: padel (4 courts), pickleball (3 courts) and 5-a-side football (2 courts). Among these activities, padel is the most popular among sports enthusiasts.
For Jérémy Scatena, the club's builder (100% Padel), this profile of clubs “is gaining ground in France”.

An innovative complex based around three axes: sport, business (coworking, team building, meetings, etc.) and a clubhouse with a catering area, ideal for exchanges between athletes.
A response to growing demand
Faced with the rapid growth and growing popularity of padel, the complex offers sessions of ascents/descents by level twice a week. Approved tournaments are also in preparation. To support players in their practice, a WhatsApp group is available, allowing them to easily find partners or opponents.
A model that combines sport and conviviality
Padel is experiencing a meteoric rise in France, and this dynamic is reflected in the rapid increase in the number of complexes dedicated to this sport. In just a few years, padel has gone from a niche activity to a mainstream discipline, attracting players of all ages and levels.
With the emergence of international circuits such as Premier Padel, the discipline benefits from increased visibility. In France, this dynamic is accompanied by a desire to innovate, in particular by integrating neighboring disciplines such as pickleball (which is now part of the FFT) or 5-a-side football in certain complexes, to attract an even wider audience.
A big sports enthusiast and former tennis player, I discovered padel a few years ago without really focusing on it. Then I became addicted to this sport by practicing it and watching the premier padel matches. Looking forward to sharing the 2025 news with you!
