On the circuits of padel, the diversity of the colors of the tracks is striking. While amateurs often play on blue slopes, the choice of colors for professional courses is much more varied, providing a veritable kaleidoscope for spectators.

The color configurations on professional circuits are numerous. We find combinations like:

  • Black / blue
  • Blue / blue
  • Red (A1)
  • Black red
  • Blue red
  • Black only
  • ...

This diversity raises questions about the impact of colors on the spectator experience. Some feel that the use of only one color, particularly all black, can harm the visibility of the game to the public. The contrast between the court floor and the spaces around it can help better track the ball and the players' movements, an essential component for a good visual experience.

While color preferences vary, the question remains open: should we favor uniformity for aesthetic reasons or visual comfort, or continue to offer a diversity of configurations that add personality to tournaments?

The debate is launched among amateurs and professionals of the padel. Do you prefer strong contrasts or a single color for the tracks?
