Fernando Belasteguín and Pablo Lima have once again proven why they are the bosses of the World Padel Tour. But this semi-final of the Estrella Damm Alicante Open 2017 , won against  Juan Tello and Federico Chingotto  3/6 6/3 6/4, will be remembered above all for one very particular point... which, until now, has no name.

The journalist in me decided to name it  La Cazadora Why? Because it seemed as if Bela had sniffed out his prey like a hunter, targeting the game with fearsome precision. And it was poor Chingotto who, smiling but still "hit," ended up being brought down by that magical blow.

The malicious move that set Alicante ablaze

As Tello's ball was cleared, Bela darted out of the court, jumped to retrieve it, and sent it straight at his opponent. The crowd was on its feet, with shouts, laughter, and applause erupting: the scene instantly became part of Alicante Open legend. Bela concluded the action with a hug for Tello, true to his image as a respectful competitor.

A close match from start to finish

After losing the first set, Lima and Belasteguín rallied to equalize. The third set was a close battle, with every point counting. At 5-3, Tello's serve offered a memorable game, but the solidity and experience of the number ones made the difference. On their serve, they wrapped things up and advanced to the final.

An explosive finale in perspective

Their final obstacle to the title will be  Sanyo Gutierrez and Paquito Navarro , winners 6/4 7/5 of   Matías Díaz   and Maxi Sanchez  in the other semi-final.

That night in Alicante, the crowd not only saw a superb and suspenseful match with two young players who will be of great importance, but also witnessed the birth of a new achievement in the history of padel:  La Cazadora .
