Superb course for Lino Meireles et son partenaire Xavier Re , Portuguese number 1, entered this week in the FIP Promises Vilamoura in Portugal.
After being stopped against a bigger team in the U14 quarter-finals, the two young players bounced back in the best possible way in the category U12 In the semi-final this morning, they fought a big battle against Francisco Maria Oliveira / Antonio Aguilar Cordoba : victory in three close sets (6/4, 6/7, 10/8).
A solid performance that allows them to access the U12 final , scheduled for 15 p.m. (French time). Opposite, they will have a big challenge to face: Salvador Condenso, world No. 2, and Guilherme Moreira Jorge, world No. 10 .
An exciting meeting for Lino and Xavier, who will have the opportunity to go and find a title in U12.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
