While in the British capital, I took the opportunity to explore the possibilities for playing padel in central London, while also combining the must-see tourist attractions. The goal: to avoid wasting too much time on public transport and to identify clubs easily accessible by metro.
Unsurprisingly, London's offerings are less extensive than those in Paris, Milan, or Spanish strongholds like Valencia, Barcelona, or Malaga. But a few clubs stand out, both for their accessibility and the quality of their infrastructure.
Three well-located and accessible clubs
Rocket Padel battersea
Accessible via the Northern Line, approximately 25 minutes from Bank station, followed by a short walk.
Padel Social Club (Earl's Court & O2 Arena)
Earl's Court: 30 minutes live from Bank
O2 Arena: 25 minutes via metro
Two locations in London for this growing network.
Padium Canary Wharf
Probably the most convenient: located in Heron Quays, 20 minutes from Bank on the DLR. This club is in the heart of the Canary Wharf business district, right next to the station, surrounded by skyscrapers, restaurants, and a shopping center. A modern atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle of historic central London.

The Padium: a modern, dynamic and well-equipped club
Opening in 2023, the Padium boasts an active gaming community, fueled by the density of surrounding offices. Reservations are made via the Playtomic app, with a simple system for joining or creating games.
Please note: Prices are quite high in central London. Expect to pay between 80 and 100 GBP for an hour of play, or €35 to €44 per person for 1 hours.
The club offers:
2 outdoor courts and 5 indoor courts (Padel Tech)
A small pro-shop, a bar and a relaxation area
A fitness corner for warming up
High-end changing rooms: showers, toilets and towels provided (which remains rare)
Good female representation
A notable point: approximately 30% of players are women, and it's possible to join all-female games directly on the app. A good point for diversity and inclusivity in the game.
Long hours, pleasant atmosphere
The club offers extended hours, allowing you to schedule a game without interfering with sightseeing. A great solution for padel enthusiasts on the go.
Finally, it's worth noting that a new complex is in the works in Cardiff, Wales. An expansion worth keeping an eye on.

Padel fan and itinerant traveler, I offer you my point of view on padel sites around the world. Have a good trip!
