Lorie Pelan  arrived in  Corsica  for four months like  padel coach  within the  C5 Stadium  à  Bastia . A new adventure in the  largest indoor padel infrastructure in France , which notably hosted a superb  P1000  with the victory of Maigret / Tison.

After playing the  tennis  for many years and  started padel  en  2022 ,  Lorie Pelan ,  20th French , decided to go and live on the' Island beauty .

“I was a member of the tennis club for a long time.  Saint Mandrier  (near  Toulon , in the  Var , editor’s note), and I always told myself that I wanted to live in Corsica before I was 30, so that’s a good thing done,” she smiles.

By integrating the  C5 Stadium  à  Bastia ,  Lorie Pelan  wants to continue to  develop women's padel  :

" 200 girls  already play here and the club has between  7 and 000 customers  who regularly come to play padel. There is a  huge potential “, she assures.

With its  full-time job  as a coach, she no longer has time to do tournaments:

“Living in Corsica no longer allows for as much travel. We always have to take the plane, it’s not possible. I’ve been in the  top 25  before reaching my  best ranking: 17th French . "

During the  P1000 men , organized on  last weekend  au  C5 Stadium , she didn't expect to see so many people:

“It was impressive. I had never seen anything like it in a tournament of this category.”

And the enthusiasm for this tournament has made children want to come and register for padel:

" We have already had 5 requests “, Complete  Lorie Pelan . For the moment, the club welcomes  30 young people aged 5 to 18  with a clear objective: “ I think that by the end of the year, we can have 60 young people. . "

Training in Spain and France

For his  padel coach training ,  Lorie Pelan  went to  Spain Near  Barcelona in  Castelldefels , while  15 days  :

“I have played and coached all types of players. I have really  delighted . "

Then she validated her  Professional Qualification for Padel Instructor (TFP)  within the  French Tennis Federation . She continues to go in  Spain once or twice a year  :

“I don’t want to be ridiculous when I teach padel. You have to be up to date with the latest  new technics  to be able to train the  men  and the  women . "

 Padel feminine, masculine and also for people with disabilities  :

“For now,  12 people come to discover padel . They have  autistic mental disorders , we adapt to everyone.”
