The qualifications of the  FIP Platinum Tirana In Albania, the results for the French players competing this week have been announced. While several French players started the qualifying rounds, only one Frenchwoman ultimately managed to reach the main draw.

 Harold Bernard stopped in the final round of qualifying 

At men's,  Harold Bernard  was associated with the Spaniard  Joel Losana .

The Franco-Spanish pair had made a perfect start to their tournament with a swift victory against the Albanian wild cards.  Elion Spahiu / Vladimir Progni  :  6 / 0 6 / 1 .

In the following round, Bernard and Losana benefited from the withdrawal of the fourth seed from the qualifiers.  Santiago Jose Pineda / Diego Garcia which allowed them to advance directly to the third round, one step away from the main draw.

But in this final qualifying match, the challenge was too great against the 6th seed.  Albin Olsson / Alfonso Sanchez Arriaga .

The Frenchman and his Spanish partner were soundly defeated:  6 / 0 6 / 2 .

 Laura Buteau started strong before falling to Bahurel 

In the ladies,  Laura Buteau  and the Spanish  Leire Uriarte Medina  had made a perfect start to their tournament.

Facing the Albanian wild cards  Ida Goxha / Albana Meta They left their opponents no chance with a decisive victory:  6 / 0 6 / 0 .

This victory then gave them an all-French duel for a place in the main draw.

 Louise Bahurel joins the main draw 

Thanks to their status as the 4th seed in qualifying,  Louise Bahurel  and the Spanish  Ivet Val Lopez  entered directly into the second round after a bye.

And in this all-French duel, Bahurel confirmed her status as favorite.

With her Spanish partner, she prevailed against Laura Buteau and Leire Uriarte Medina with a score of  6 / 4 6 / 1 .

A solid victory that allows her to become the sole French representative in the main draw of this  FIP Platinum Tirana .

 A huge first round for Bahurel 

For his entry into the final draw,  Louise Bahurel  will, however, be entitled to a very large portion.

She will face off with  Ivet Val Lopez  the top seed 8, composed of  Julieta Evangelina Bidahorria / Marta Caparros Maldonado .

The meeting is scheduled for  second 10am rotation on court 2
