The inter-regions padel bringing together Provence, Seine-et-Marne and Val De Marne took place this weekend in the center Padel-horizon of Fontenay Sous bois. A step that is far from trivial since it allowed the finalists to access the final stages of the French championships of padel. One pair stood out in particular ...

The feat signed Veber / Lapouge

At the men's, the pairs of Provence were composed of Laurent Boulade / Pier Gauthier and Kevin Fouquet / Jérôme ferrandez

The Seine and Marnais representatives were Fred Burelli / Cyril theunynck and Fabien Timbert / Vincent Richard.

Finally the Val de Marne was represented by Lapouge Mathieu / Fabien Veber and Alexis Joye / Laurent Michel.

The hens were held on Saturday afternoon and saw the Provence impose on the 2 chickens in front of the Val de Marne and the Seine and Marne which did not deserve by opposing a beautiful resistance.

The team composed of Lapouge / Veber was unable to fully defend his chances following an injury to the 1er Match Veber, moving the radial head carefully treated by the physio at night to hope to play the semifinal the next morning at 9h.

The first semifinal between Boulade / Gauthier and Joye / Michel. A fairly broad and logical victory of the Provencal 6 / 0 6 / 2 but the Val de Marnais leave the head up and the desire to play new tournaments.

In the other semi-final, the question was whether Fabien Veber could hold his place after a visit to Physiotherapy the day before. Answer: YES! Supported by his partner Mathieu Lapouge, the “northerner” pair created the feat by beating the Fouquet / Ferrandez pair, a pair yet contenders for the supreme title with a dry score of 6/1 6/3.

A serious game without fault where the left arm of Lapouge has won a lot of points while Veber discouraged the southerners with its big defenses.

This is a real feat. Because remember that the pair Fouquet / Ferrandez had been this season almost irreproachable. She was also first out of her regional stage in Provence.

In the final, the other big pair of Provence Boulade / Gauthier arrives very aware by the level of play of the val-de-marnais. Start of the game hanging. But in the final, this time, the favorites win in 2 sets 6 / 4 6 / 1. The big winners are Boulade / Gauthier who have been clearly above all the competition.

Despite the defeat in this final, the pair Lapouge / Veber explains that " we Parisians are aware of having already made something beautiful. We will enjoy and prepare ourselves next month ».

Clergue and Casanova as boss

On the women's side, no surprise, the French champions of padel did not give opposing pairs any chance to hope to win at least one set. Sandra Dalain / Adeline Nadal (Provence Tennis League) has logically qualified.

With 5 pairs at the start and therefore a big hen, the pairs from Provence therefore qualified directly for the final stages of the French championships of padel.

3 on 4 for the league Provence.
