The pairs market continues to be lively with the official announcement of the association between I fight Capra et Juanlu Esbri for the 2025 season. The two players, ranked respectively 27e et 25e in the FIP ranking in 2024, join forces on the circuit Premier Padel.

An eventful 2024 season for Lucho Capra

I fight Capra has experienced a 2024 marked by many changes of partners. After starting the season alongside Fernando Belasteguín, the left-handed Argentinian did not achieve the expected results, which led to a premature separation. He then went on to collaborate with several others, notably with Alex Chozas and Maxi Sánchez, with whom he finished the season. Capra now aims to find better results and consistency with his new partner.

Juanlu Esbrí: constant progress

For its part, Juanlu Esbri had a generally positive 2024 season, punctuated by solid performances. Alongside Javi Rico, he won the FIP Gold from Valladolid, before continuing the season with Lucas Bergamini, notably reaching the semi-finals of the Madrid P1. He finished the year alongside Xisco Gil, but it is with Lucho Capra that he now begins a new chapter in 2025. This player will seek to take an additional step by teaming up with an experienced partner like Capra.

An ambitious pair

This new association aims to combine the experience of I fight Capra with the solidity and constant progression of Juanlu Esbri. Their complementarity on the field could make them a dangerous pair. With this collaboration, Capra et Esbri hope to find consistency and try to reach the last four of the major tournaments.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
