What a match! The day isn't over yet  Movistar Arena , but it is difficult to imagine that we will witness a more spectacular meeting than this  quarter-final between Arce/Lijo and Coello/Tapia . From qualifications,  Pablo Lijo and Maxi Arce  entered the match without complexes. Very aggressive, they quickly lead  3/1  in the first round. This time, the match reaches its climax.  Tapia on fire  offers two match points to the Golden Boys ( 6/4 ), But  Arce/Lijo  don't tremble. The outsiders turn the situation around by aligning  4 consecutive points , saving those match points and winning the set  7 / 6 (8 / 6) The audience explodes, the suspense is total.

The experience of number 1s makes the difference

But after  five matches in six days , fatigue weighs heavily on  Arce and Lijo . In the third set,  Coello and Tapia  take advantage of their freshness to accelerate. A quick break allows them to lead  4/1 , then control until the end. Final victory  7/6 6/7 6/3  for the world number 1s, who secure their place in  semi final .

Tomorrow they will meet a confident Spanish pair:  Mike Yanguas and Coki Nieto . A promising shock that  promises to once again set the Movistar Arena alight.
