The second women's semi-final of the  Madrid P1  promises a great clash between two pairs with very different trajectories:  Bea González and Claudia Fernández (TS3)  face  Alejandra Salazar and Martina Calvo (TS8) .

González / Fernández, the safe bet

Still present in the last four this season,  Bea and Claudia  display impressive consistency. With already  2 titles and 5 finals in 2025  (Asunción P2 and Málaga P1 won), they have not  never fell before the semi-finals Their Madrid run further confirmed their solidity:  only 10 games conceded and no sets lost .
In Madrid, they have happy memories: Bea triumphed in 2023 with Delfi Brea, while Claudia won in 2024 with Gemma Triay. Another final would confirm their status as serious rivals for Triay and Brea.

Salazar / Calvo, the surprising alliance

Facing them, an unexpected but formidable pair:  Alejandra Salazar and Martina Calvo . In just three tournaments together, they are already playing their  second semi-final  after Malaga. They gave themselves two big blows: eliminating  Triay/Brea in Malaga  and especially  Ari/Paula in Madrid , proof of their ability to knock off the favorites.
They arrive with a solid balance sheet:  20 games conceded and only one set lost And a victory would allow them to make history:

  •  Calvo , at 17, would become the youngest finalist of Premier Padel.
  •  Salazar , 8 titles already in Madrid in her career, would aim for a new final, even if she is still chasing a first title on the circuit Premier Padel.

A semi-final between experience and youth

Beyond the tactical duel, this meeting also symbolizes the clash of generations:  23 years separate Salazar and Calvo , which would make them the pair with the largest age gap ever to finalist on the tour.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
