Guichard and  Clement Geens  confirmed their excellent momentum by securing their qualification for the round of 32, while Leygue and  Arnau Ayats  They logically gave way to a pair that was stronger on paper.

They had the most favorable draw among the qualifiers, and they knew how to seize their opportunity.

Opposed to the Spanish  Manuel Aragon Herrera  et  Albert Roglan Pons they too came from the qualifying rounds,  Dylan Guichard  et  Clement Geens  They prevailed after a hard-fought match.

The match started badly for the Franco-Belgian pair, who were quickly broken and trailing.  4/2 But Guichard and Geens raised their level of play, notably thanks to a very good spell of  Clement Geens and continue  four consecutive games  to completely turn the tide and win.  6/4 .

A new challenge against the 13rd seed

Thanks to this success,  Guichard and Geens  join the round of 32 where they await  Javier Garcia  et  Jose jimenez casas , seeded 13.

They won't be the favorites, but this is undoubtedly one of the most favorable draws at this stage of the competition. Given the confidence they've displayed since the start of qualifying, the Franco-Belgian pair can believe in an upset.

For  Thomas Leygue  et  Arnau Ayats the step was higher.

Opposed to  Alonso Rodriguez Martinez  et  Juan Ignacio De Pascual Two players ranked around the world's top 50, the Frenchman and the Spaniard, were defeated.  6 / 3 6 / 2 .

The Spaniard and the Argentinian quickly imposed their rhythm, showcasing their attacking prowess throughout the match. Despite some promising spells, Leygue and Ayats lacked consistency to truly trouble their opponents.

An encouraging week for Leygue

If the adventure ends in the first round of the main draw,  Thomas Leygue  can still retain the positive aspects.

His excellent qualifying performance allowed him to return to the main draw on the circuit  Premier Padel , an important result after several complicated weeks.

The Frenchman also leaves Málaga with  22 FIP points , renewed confidence and certainty for the rest of the season.
