Arturo Coello  et  Agustín Tapia  sent a clear message to their competitors. In less than an hour of play (59 minutes), the  world number 1  have dominated  Paquito Navarro  et  Lucas Bergamini  on the uncontested score of  6 / 4 6 / 0 , validating their ticket for a  third consecutive final  after Valladolid and Bordeaux.

A first set controlled despite the opposing reaction

The Spanish-Argentine pair entered the game very strongly, with a  double entry break  to lead 3/0. Faced with the intensity displayed by Tapia at the net and the coverage of Coello,  Bergamini and Paquito struggle to find solutions . However, from 3/0, they change strategy,  slow down the game  et  force Coello to play more backwards A profitable adaptation… but late.

The outsiders break once, but not twice. The difference?  The realism and solidity of the world number 1s , which  fewer unforced errors (7 vs. 15) . Tapia and Coello maintain their lead and  fold the set 6/4 .

 A second one-sided set

The second act begins on the same basis. Tapia and Coello  break again from the start then  confirmed by a double break  at 3/0. This time,  Bergamini and Paquito bow their heads , frustrated, disorganized,  mute in communication The final score of the set is clear:  6/0 in 20 minutes .

On the way to a hat trick?

Tapia and Coello reach  a new final  and will try to chain  a third consecutive title , a first for them in 2025. But the last step promises to be difficult:  Galan and Chingotto  will be opposite, their  current biggest rivals . A highly anticipated duel, where  the physical advantage could lean towards Coello / Tapia , whose semi-final lasted  almost 1 hour 45 minutes less  than that of their opponents.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
