No sooner had the Bordeaux P2 race finished than the circuit Premier Padel They're already heading to Malaga. In the men's draw, Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia seem to have found their stride again. 

Bordeaux has changed the game for women

Bordeaux's P2 will undoubtedly leave its mark on the 2026 season.

For the first time this year,  a tournament Premier Padel was won by a pair who were not among the top three seeds This scenario is rare enough to be worth highlighting, given how locked down the women's circuit had seemed for several months.

But beyond the title of  Tamara Icardo and Claudia Jensen , it is above all the dynamics of the world's number 1 players that raise questions.

With four titles won since the start of the season, their record remains largely positive. But the impression of dominance that still emanated a few weeks ago has somewhat cracked.

 Malaga could well be the tournament of reaction.  The world's number 1 players will have to show that they remain the benchmark on the circuit and regain some ground on their pursuers.

Bea González wants to continue her winning streak at home

If there is one player who will be particularly expected to  Malaga , it's good  Bea González .

A victory in Malaga would allow them to string together a  fifth consecutive title but above all to send a strong message to  Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto who have struggled to keep up in recent weeks.

The Malaga P1 will therefore tell if Coello and Tapia have definitively returned to impose their rule on the circuit.

The favorites will enter the competition starting July 14th

The draw for the final bracket will take place on  July 11 , while the top seeds will make their appearance between the  July 14 and 16 .

For men, attention will be focused on  Coello / Tapia ,  Galan / Chingotto ,  Lebrón / Augsburger  et  Yanguas / Stupaczuk .

In the ladies,  Triay / Brea ,  Josemaría / González ,  Sánchez / Ustero  et  Araújo / Fernández  will try to launch their campaign with, already, different pressures depending on the dynamics left by Bordeaux.
