It's the big day at the Palais des Sports Martin Carpena: the finals of the Malaga Premier Padel P1 begin this Sunday at 14:00 p.m.

We will start as usual with the ladies final which opposes  Gemma Triay / Claudia Fernandez (TS3) to Paula Josemaria / Ari Sanchez (TS1) . Jostled yesterday by Patty Llaguno and Lucia Sainz, the numbers 1 are not as dominant as in 2023, but they remain the reference of the women's circuit, they who will play today their seventh final of the year.

For their part, Triay and Fernandez, who started the tournament with two 6/0 6/0, qualified for the final without playing, following the withdrawal of Bea Gonzalez, injured in the pectoral. Physical and mental freshness should therefore be on their side this Sunday. Enough to prevent the favorites from lifting a fifth trophy in 2024?

For the men, it's classic with the ninth clash between the pairs  Chingotto / Galan (TS2) and Coello / Tapia (TS1) , the eighth in the final. For the moment, it is the numbers 2 who dominate this duel with five victories to 3. Beaten in the last two finals, the numbers 1 must react this Sunday if they do not want to let their main (only?) rivals take definitively psychological ascendancy over them. Swept out in the final a week ago in Genoa, Arturo and Agustin want to forget their heavy defeat. Often in high demand by “Chingalan”, Coello knows that his performance will be scrutinized this Sunday. Will he be able to show another face in this final?

 In France, the finals will be broadcast live on Canal Plus Sport 360 from 14 p.m.!
