The Bordeaux pair, Manon Marcarie / Cassandra Senjean, wins the P1000 Stadium Caen, achieving a perfect run without conceding a single set. Despite a few warnings, notably in the semi-final and during the first set of the final against Merah/Martin, their victory was sealed after the abandonment of Melissa Martin for medical reasons.
The Big Players Padel Bordeaux look back on their victory:
"We are very happy, even if we celebrate modestly, because the score stopped at 7/5 3/0 when Mélissa had to give up. She suffered a drop in blood pressure, took a medical timeout, but after one game, she could not continue."

Both players, however, are keen to emphasise their good performance:
"In truth, we played very well. It felt good to bounce back after our two big defeats at the FIP Bronze in Caen and the small correction suffered in the Orléans final against Duchenne/Tonda. There, we found the resources and keys to continue to improve, tournament after tournament, and finally win this Long-awaited P1000. After several missed finals – maybe two or three where we missed out – this victory against a big team fills us with joy.
Their success was also marked by a special atmosphere:
"We had supporters and that was really nice. Thomas was with us on the bench; he found the right words at the right time. The tournament facilities were great, very high quality, and the general atmosphere contributed a lot to our good state of mind. Honestly, this tournament was great, not only because we won, but because everything was really well organized."
