Marta Marrero and Aranzazu Osoro surprised everyone by announcing their separation, at the beginning of August. Consequently, a lot of speculation had been made around the new mother with, in particular, her former partner: Alejandra Salazar. Ultimately, it was towards Barbara Las Heras that the former world number 1 decided to turn.

Barbara Las Heras, recently separated from Victoria Iglesias, had a complicated half of the season alongside the Spaniard after her return from injury. Lacking rhythm and results, the separation surprised no one. Alongside an experienced player, we can hope that she manages to regain her best level!
