From the next tournament, Marta Marrero will have the opportunity to equal the record of tournament victories for girls on the World Padel Tour.

The WPT website tells us that there is one, the Alayeto sisters, with 30 tournaments (Open and Master) won since the creation of the World Padel Tour female, were largely in the lead. But, after a 2019 season far from their standards, and with only one title to chew, their record (31) is more in danger than ever. With 8 wins in 2019 and one in 2020, Marta Marrero is now 30 !

Lcurrent world number one seems at the top of its game and the binoculars will have to find their level if they want to be able to take advantage of this record for a while. Slightly behind, Alejandra Salazar, 24 tournaments won, remains in ambush.

It remains to be seen now when the World Padel Tour can resume his rights. One thing is certain, the fight for the record should be fierce! We look forward to that!
