The beautiful journey of  Melissa Martin  et  Charlotte Soubrié  au  FIP Silver Giulianova  stops at the gates of the final. Opposed to the seed 2,  Marta Talaván  et  Teresa Navarro , the French women lost heavily in the semi-final:  6 / 2 6 / 0 .

Facing a much higher-ranked and more experienced pair, the Tricolores never found a solution. Talaván and Navarro quickly imposed their pace and intensity, and the score was conclusive.

Despite this defeat, the French women can take much from the positives. Seeded eighth in the tournament, they confirmed their potential by reaching the semi-finals thanks to two convincing victories. The quarter-final victory against Ivet Val López and Gema Flores Saucedo, after a battle lasting more than two hours (8/3 6/6 3/6), will remain a highlight of their week.

This result is also encouraging for  Melissa Martin , who is making a promising comeback after a long period of inactivity due to a thumb injury followed by a concussion. In a duo with the ever-combative Charlotte Soubrié.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
