The big surprise of these TNJ Masters is here: the favorites  Yoan Boronad  et  Timeo Fonteny  were eliminated by  Jeremy Robert  et  Tom Basso  finally. The recent winners of the P1500 Bandol therefore leave the Masters TNJ without the title.

Jérémy Robert and Thomas Basso played  a very high level  on the track. So much so that they created the first surprise by taking the first set from the Catalan pair:  6/4 .

Behind, the burst of pride of the favorites with title ambitions. They put things back in place in the second round by winning it  6/3  and therefore pushing their opponents into a decisive third round.

However, despite a remontada in this match, Timéo Fonteny and Yoan Boronad ended up giving in, cornered by their opponents' balls. It would seem, moreover, that  Yoan was hit in the shoulder , perhaps a sign of serious fatigue with the accumulation of tournaments.
