On containment and training

There I stayed in Barcelona because I hoped it wouldn't last long. I did not return to Cannes to take no risk with my parents and there I find myself alone in Barcelona, like a rat. I do two physical sessions per day, which were given to me by my physical trainer.

On his past, the discovery of padel and his first French championships

I played tennis all my youth in Cannes, then I went to the United States, where I spent almost five years. I started to play a little bit padel with Sébastien Preauchat and Greg Berben, who humiliated us at the start. We made a final with Laurent Bensadoun when we almost got out in the hens.

What it brings him to be in Barcelona

Have a coach who has real experience padel. Lots of players to train with.

On his non-selection last year in the French team

I was disgusted. The results were not there but the level of play was there. The coach had his teams in mind for two years and it was difficult for me to make my place. When you have tasted the France team you want to be there all the time, but I don't think people trust me especially.

On his future in the French team

It will depend on Alexis' selection criteria, what he is looking for and whether he thinks I have my place. At no point did he say that I had made good results with Benjamin Tison or Johan Bergeron.

On the change of cap by Robin Haziza

If he made this decision it was because he felt it was time to make a change. He will be missed by the French team as a player but he will also make a huge contribution as captain of the French women's team.

On the possibility of playing right

I am not closed. It all depends on how things are brought up. But I can't hear anyone putting me on the right because all the players on the left are stronger than me. I feel better on the left.

On the possibility of playing right with Adrien Maigret

I could but why Adrien would not play on the right and I on the left too? For the moment I was supposed to do the season on the left, with Jérôme Inzerillo on my right.

On his association with Jérémy Ritz

We had very different objectives. We didn't play well together, we realized that it was not possible.

On his frequent change of partners

Au padel, you are never married to a partner. The results determine everything. On the WPT, we get along well with Pablo Acevedo. In France, it's complicated, I played with two or three players, when things go wrong you have to stop.

On his ideal partner in France

Johan Bergeron is someone I highly value and with whom I get along very well. I love his game, both of us, in France, we can beat everyone.

I think the evolution of padel in France goes through tennis clubs.
