With their French equipment supplier Technifibre, Russian Daniil Medvedev and Polish Iga Swiatek tested padel.

Le  11th in the world  and the  8th in the world  swapped their tennis rackets for padel rackets for a day. In partnership with  Technicfibre Their  official equipment supplier ,  Daniil Medvedev  et  Iga swiatek  thus discovered the basics of this booming sport.

They were supervised by two  professional padel players  :  Mathias Novillo  et  Joel Olivera .

The Russian and the Polish tried to master the  return ,  bajada , and to the art of  systematically go up to the net after the serve .

After a period of  declining results  for these two tennis stars, this  introduction to padel  could have offered them a welcome break.

 Daniil Medvedev  stay on one  elimination in the first round  de  Roland Garros  against the British  Cameron norrie .

 Iga swiatek , for her part, was  beaten in the semi-final  by Belarusian  Aryna Sabalenka  during the Parisian tournament. We recall that the  Polonaise  has already won  four times Roland-Garros  (2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024).
