It is rare to see  three tie-breaks in one match , but that's what it took to decide  Victor Mena  (68) et  Jose solano  (63) facing  Jairus Baptist  (28) et  Francisco Guerrero  (31) after nearly 2h30 of play in the first round of the Mexico Major. The two Spaniards put an end to the great momentum of Bautista and Guerrero, who were coming off a semi-final in Kuwait Premier Padel P1.

The match was  extremely balanced , without any team really taking the upper hand. The statistics confirm this: both teams display an identical rate of 71% of points won on their service games and 29% on their return games.

The first tie-break fell in favor of Bautista and Guerrero, who confirmed their status as favorites. But Mena and Solano won the next two tie-breaks, giving themselves a great victory against a team in great form.

Mena and Solano will play in the next round  Alvaro Cepero (47)  et  Miguel Benitez (55) .

For Guerrero and Bautista, this is their second defeat in the first round of a competition. Premier Padel since the start of the school year in September, after the one suffered in the 32nd final at the Greenweez Paris Major.
