Le  Miami men's draw Premier Padel P1 2026  delivered its verdict:  The top four seeds will all be present in the semi-finals. .

In indoor conditions very different from Cancún, the favorites all lived up to expectations, without dropping a single set.

Lebrón / Augsburger confirm their rise to power

This is undoubtedly the most impressive pair at the moment.  Juan Lebrón and Leo Augsburger  have reached a new milestone by dominating  Jon Sanz and Coki Nieto  on the score of  6 / 3 7 / 5 .

A real test against a pair that is always very difficult to handle, who had also beaten them at  Gijón But this time, the dynamics were not the same.

From the very first games, we sensed a pair  Lebrón / Augsburger is more mature, more stable and above all more complete .  Leo Augsburg  had a very strong game, particularly in defense, allowing  Lebrón  to dictate the tempo from the back of the track. The Spaniard was excellent in managing the rhythms, perfectly alternating the sequences.

Opposite,  Sanz and Nieto  They resisted, as often happens, but they came up against a pair brimming with confidence.

Result:  a second consecutive semi-final for Lebrón and Augsburger who seem to have taken a real step forward since their final in Cancún.

Coello/Tapia win without completely reassuring anyone

On their side,  Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia  had to work hard to get out  Paquito Navarro and Fran Guerrero , with a victory  7 / 5 7 / 6 .

On paper, the number one contenders remained favorites. But on the track, the match was much closer than expected.

In the  first set ,  Paquito and Guerrero  had a real opportunity to turn the tide of the match.  4/5 they obtain  three set points , without managing to reach a conclusion. And that's often where the difference lies with the very best:  Coello and Tapia Even when in difficulty, they know how to punish immediately.

In a few minutes, the scoreboard changes from  4/5 to 7/5 .

Le  second set  confirmed this impression: the league leaders have not yet found their best form in Miami. They sometimes seemed less comfortable than usual in these conditions, more inconsistent in their performance, but still formidable when points count.

They manage to get by  tie-breaker ,  8/6 , thanks to this unique ability to better play the crucial moments.

Not a demonstration, but yet another proof that even when they don't shine completely,  The number ones remain incredibly difficult to beat. .

Galán / Chingotto unroll and send a message

If one pair completely reassured everyone in the quarter-finals, it was definitely  Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto .

Facing  Javi Garcia and Javi Barahona They delivered a truly impressive performance:  6 / 1 6 / 0  in less than an hour.

A one-sided match, where the number two players stifled their opponents from start to finish. In indoor conditions that seem perfectly suited to them,  Galan and Chingotto  imposed their intensity, their speed of movement and their quality of transition.

After their setback in Cancún, they needed a benchmark match. They got it.

A performance that immediately puts them back among the very serious contenders for the title.

Stupa/Yanguas emerge victorious from the fight

The most contested quarter-final of the day pitted  Franco Stupaczuk / Mike Yanguas  à  Martín Di Nenno / Momo González .

Victoire  7 / 6 6 / 4  for the 3rd seed, but the score does not fully reflect the difficulty of the match.

Le  first set  It was extremely close. Trailing  3/0 ,  Yanguas and Stupa  had to get back into the game, save  two set balls , before finally making the difference in the tie-break.

This first win clearly had an impact on what followed.

In the  second set ,  Di Nenno and Momo  They offered some very good sequences, but failed to maintain that intensity in the decisive moments. Conversely,  Stupa and Yanguas  were cleaner, more lucid, more solid when it came time to close the deal.

A very important success, achieved with difficulty, which confirms the strength of this pair in big matches.

 No surprises, but real trends

The observation is clear:
The top four seeds are in the semi-finals.
None of them lost a single set
but not all of them give the same impression

Galan / Chingotto  seem to have sent the strongest signal.
Lebrón / Augsburger  continue to gain momentum.
Stupa / Yanguas  have shown that they know how to suffer.
Et  Coello / Tapia Even if less sovereign, they still remain there.

 Dream semi-finals

The final four now promises two huge matches:

  •  Arturo Coello / Agustín Tapia vs Juan Lebrón / Leo Augsburger
  •  Alejandro Galán / Federico Chingotto vs Mike Yanguas / Franco Stupaczuk

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
