Léa Godallier and Sandra Bellver will not have succeeded in crossing the threshold of first round of Miami P1 qualifying, bowing to Laura Luján and Carla Mesa (6/4 6/4). Opposed to the seeded 4, the French and the Spanish hoped to take their revenge after their defeat against Luján in the Riyadh P1 qualifiers, but this time again, they did not find the solution.

Godallier and Bellver had opportunities, they had succeeded in break at the start of the second set, an advantage that could have put them back in the race after losing the first set. Unfortunately, Luján and Mesa knew how to react, quickly catching up with the score before breaking at 4/4 to definitively take the upper hand and conclude their commitment.

With 48% of points won in return, Luján and Mesa were able to be more incisive in their opponents' service games, a factor that undoubtedly weighed on the outcome of the match.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
