See you soon 48 years , Miguel Lamperti continues to do what he has often done well throughout his career: surround themselves with young players with high potential .
And his new venture now has a name: Martin Abud .
The Argentinian will form a new partnership with the Paraguayan player starting on Newgiza P2 , in an association that fits perfectly into Lamperti's career trajectory.
Lamperti leaves with a new young talent
For several seasons, Miguel Lamperti has often found himself in this somewhat unusual role: that of the experienced player capable of frame , lancer ou growing very promising young profiles.
Over the years, he has shared the track with or accompanied players such as:
- Arturo Coello
- Miguel Yanguas
- Juani Rubini
- Juan Ignacio De Pascual
And this time, it's therefore Martin Abud who will try to take advantage of this launching pad.
The adventure with Alberto García Trabanco has come to an end.
This change also marks the end of the association between Miguel Lamperti et Alberto Garcia Trabanco with whom he had started the season.
A project that ultimately did not last, in a market where adjustments are increasingly rapid as soon as a better opportunity arises.
Lamperti is therefore starting afresh, with a rather different profile but still following the same logic: betting on youth and potential .
Martín Abud, a rising profile
Born in 2003 Martin Abud is one of the players who are starting to seriously make their mark on the South American scene.
The Paraguayan had already made a name for himself on A1 Padel where he had shown several very interesting qualities.
A complete profile, still under development, but with obvious room for improvement.
Already solid results in 2026
Sportingly abud also remains on an interesting trajectory.
Most recently, he reached the final of the FIP Silver Joinville with Franco Da Bianco , which already constitutes its second FIP Silver final this season , after the one contested in February at FIP Silver Wadi Padel Tournament .
These results show that he is reaching a new milestone.
An association designed to accelerate
With Lamperti The idea seems quite clear: to seek a little more regularity, visibility, and above all, to try to reach a new level on the FIP Tour and Premier Padel .
The objective is twofold:
- avoid pre-existing conditions as much as possible
- and get closer to Top 100 worldwide
On paper, the duo has something intriguing about them.
On the one hand, Experience , the reading of the game and Lamperti's aura.
The other, the freshness and the impact of Abud.
First steps expected in Newgiza
The two players must starting together at Newgiza P2 and they have already begun to train side by side .
A first real test to see if the connection establishes quickly.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
