The first major twist of the Milan Premier Padel P1 occurred at the end of the second day of the main draw. While the logic of the ranking had been respected until then, Pol Hernández et William Collado defied all predictions by taking out the number 4 seed, mike yanguas et Coki Nieto, at the end of a close match concluded 6/3, 3/6, 6/3.

A bold and constructive victory

The young Spaniards approached the match without any complexes, displaying a physical intensity and energy that quickly put their opponents under pressure. The first set, won 6/3, set the tone: aggression, initiative, and perfect communication on the court.

Yanguas and Nieto responded in the second set (3/6), but a decisive break at 3/1 in the final set allowed Hernández and Collado to regain the advantage and never let it go. Favorites at the rendezvous

While Yanguas and Nieto were the only seeds to fall in the second round, the other favorites held their own.

In the women's draw, the seeded pairs 5 to 8 also secured their place in the round of 16, where the top four seeds — Triay–Brea, Sánchez–Josemaría, González–Fernández et Araújo–Ustero — will enter the lists.
