Paula Josemaría  et  Ariana Sánchez  are back on top. The world number 2s delivered a real recital in the final of the  Milan P1 , dominating the 3rd seed  Bea González  et  Claudia Fernández  on the score of  6 / 2 6 / 4 A clear and flawless victory that ends a series of seven tournaments without a title for the Hispanic pair.

A controlled match

From the start, Paula and Ari set a hellish pace. Break at the start, maximum physical intensity and games of bajadasurgical that Bea and Claudia cannot control. Josemaría, imperial in her diagonal, explodes the defense of  Claudia Fernández , unable to control her opponent's heavy left paw. Gonzalez and Fernández try to vary things, Bea comes to support Claudia more on the right, but the pattern does not change:  Sánchez dominates his diagonal , imposing her tempo in defense and accelerating as soon as she takes the net.  3/2 , the break falls, and the gap widens. However, while they were leading  5/3 , the favorites experienced a slight lull: they held back their shots and suffered the aggressive comeback of their rivals, who broke back in an electric atmosphere. But on the following game, hopes collapsed:  Claudia Fernandez cracks , chaining  four unforced errors  and offering the match and the title to Josemaría and Sánchez.

The Return of the Queens

Like a  Buenos Aires  At the start of the season, Paula and Ari won the final against Bea and Claudia this time with a score of  6 / 2 6 / 4 , after their 6/2 6/2 success in Argentina. Their domination against González and Fernández continues:  7 wins to 1  in their direct confrontations. Bea and Claudia never found the solution against the variety and reading of the game of the two Spaniards. Claudia, in particular, always suffers in her diagonal against the power of Paula Josemaría.

A victory symbolizing renewal

Beyond the score, it is the  renaissance  of the Sanchez / Josemaría pair that we remember. More complicit, more expressive, the two players once again display the desire and cohesion that had taken them to the top of world padel. Ari, brilliant in defense, finally seems back to her best, while Paula radiates confidence and efficiency.

They thus obtain their  42nd title together , an impressive figure that confirms their status as legends of modern women's padel. This title in Milan, their first in the Lombardy city, completely relaunches the Spanish women's momentum in the race for the world throne.

Bea and Claudia, finalists for the seventh time this season, can have some regrets: too much irregularity, especially for  Fernandez , and a lack of solutions against a perfectly tuned team. Ironically,  Claudia loses in Milan  the title she won last year with  Gemma Triay .

Heading for the end of the season

Already qualified for the  Barcelona Tour Finals (December 11-14, 2025) , Paula and Ari strike a big blow before the final stretch of the season. After regaining their level and their serenity, the Spanish are back in the race for the world throne, in fact mathematically they can still reclaim it at the end of the season.
