Premier Padel never stops! After Düsseldorf and Rotterdam, the circuit continues with a new, highly anticipated stage: the Milan P1, the last major European tournament before the final tour. A year after the edition marked by the farewells of Fernando Belasteguín, the tournament is now established as a essential classic of the calendar.

An explosive masculine painting

The draw of the masculine chartcomposed of 48 pairs, promises big clashes from the first rounds. The world number 1, Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello, share the same half of the table as Franco Stupaczuk and Juan LebrónIf they respect the hierarchy, the two duos could cross paths in semi final, but before that, Tapia and Coello could face Paquito Navarro and Jon Sanz of the quarter-finals, an explosive shock in perspective.

On their side, Stupa and Lebron will first have to pass a delicate test against the pair Momo González / Fran Guerrero, who are playing their second tournament together.

In the other half of the painting, Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas are located in the same area as Di Nenno / Augsburger, a possible quarter-final clash between these two teams. Galan and Chingotto, they will have a tough journey: they could come across Edu Alonso / Juan Tello in eighth, then Bergamini / Leal in the quarter-finals. Suffice to say that the show is guaranteed in Milan.

The women's circuit under pressure

At the Women, the main table groups together 28 pairs, and the tension mounts as the season draws to a close. Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea (TS1), leaders of the classification have little margin for error to manage so much Ariana Sánchez and Paula Josemaría (TS2) are trying to get back on track before the end of the year.

On world number 1 find themselves on the same side as Bea González and Claudia Fernández (TS3). Before a possible semi-final between these two duos, Triay and Brea will first have to be wary in the quarter-finals Marta Ortega and Tamara Icardo in great shape, while Bea and Claudia will potentially cross paths Claudia Jensen and Alejandra Alonso in 1/4.

In the other part of the table, Sofia Araújo and Andrea Ustero (TS4) benefit from a more open route to the semi-finals. For Ari Sánchez and Paula Josemaría, the path could pass through a tricky quarter-final against Salazar and Calvo.

Alix Collombon returns to a familiar duel

The French Alix Collombon and his Spanish partner Araceli Martínez will start the tournament against Lucia Sainz and Patty Llaguno, like last week in Rotterdam.
The French and Spanish team lost their last encounter, but this time they will have a great opportunity to take their revenge, but Sainz and Llaguno will play their last tournament together in Milan before separating, then they will be keen to end their association in style.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
