La  Belgium has unveiled its men's and women's selections  with a view to  FIP World Cup 2026 , organized in Doha from  November 2-7 However, the two teams will not follow the same path: the men will have to go through the  European qualifiers in Madrid, from September 22nd to 26th , while the women have already qualified directly for the World Cup.

With several players who are regulars at  French circuit and the CUPRA FIP Tour , both selections include some well-known faces.

Clément Geens to lead Belgium to Doha

In the men's category, the leader will logically be  Clement Geens Ranked number 1 in Belgium and 80th in the world, he is now well established on the international circuit and currently shares the track with the French number 1.  Dylan Guichard .

An association that allows Geens to be seen regularly at tournaments Premier Padel and FIP. It will undoubtedly be one of Belgium's main assets in securing its ticket to Doha.

Alongside him, we find  Maxime Deloyer Former Belgian number 1 and a very familiar face on the French circuit. P1000, P1500, P2000: the Belgian has made numerous appearances in France in recent months and will bring his experience to the team.

Another well-known player,  Nathan Lambrechts , regularly present on the international circuit, notably alongside the Frenchman  Romain Sichez .

The men's selection is completed by  Maxime De Puiser, Bram Coene, Maxime De Roose, Joris De Weerdt and Florian Vandelanotte .

Belgium will be governed by  Juan Pablo Abarca  with a clear objective: to get out of the European qualifiers in Madrid and reach the final draw in Qatar.

For the women, there is no need to go through the qualifying rounds:  Belgium already has its ticket to Doha .

And here again, several players are particularly well-known in France.

To start with  Marie maligo , who has become a leading figure on the French circuit over the past few months. The Belgian has just won with  Laura Clergue the last women's P1500 in history , after having already achieved the  P2000 WinWin Padel Cabriès  in July.

These results naturally make her one of the important players in this Belgian team.

We will also find  Justine Pysson  et  Elyne Boeykens , two players already seen at French tournaments and now regularly competing in the  CUPRA FIP Tour The two Belgians, who play together on the international circuit, are both ranked around the  world top 170 .

 Noémie Sermant  She is also part of the selection, as is  Helena Wyckaert , another well-known player on the French side. The latter currently shares the track with the Frenchwoman  Camille Sireix The duo recently reached the quarter-finals of the  FIP Silver of Westerbork where he had pushed the number 1 seed to the third set.

The selection is completed by  An-Sophie Mestach, Michelle Van Mol and Rune Vierendaels .  Thomas Deschamps  will be in charge of coaching this women's team.

Two different objectives for Belgium

For men, the first date will therefore be set for  September 22-26 in Madrid Geens and his teammates will have to secure their qualification against the other European nations still in contention.

The ladies can already turn directly to  Doha, November 2-7 , with a team combining experience from the French circuit and players who are increasingly present internationally.
