The group stages of the World Championships Padel 2024 in Qatar are now over, and place in the main draw with the long-awaited quarter-finals. The best teams in the world have confirmed their status by qualifying.
Ladies' side, nothing special to report since the favorite nations have largely dominated the group stages. We will find theSpain Argentina and Italy in the semi-finals, barring a big surprise. Even if the France has already beaten twice the Portugal at the European Championships and is once again the favourite in this confrontation against the Lusitania, we must not forget that despite a particularly unbalanced Portuguese team, France has always let a match slip away against Portugal.

In the men, the predicted picture is confirmed for these 2024 World Championships in Qatar. No surprises so far. Two confrontations are particularly anticipated: Portugal vs United Arab Emirates and, of course, the big quarter-final match that will captivate all fans: France vs Italy. It should be noted, however, that Brazil defeat (again) facing the Portugal in the group stage, a defeat which has direct consequences. Indeed, it is the Brazil who inherits theSpain for the quarter-finals…

Surprisingly, the first real duel of these World Championships on the gentlemen's side, the highly anticipated France vs Italy, will not take place on the center track. Curious choice, especially since the poster of the quarterfinal on the central will be Argentina vs Chile, an opposition which, it must be said, has no real sporting stakes. The quarter-finals will normally start at 16 p.m.
In the ladies, the confrontation between the Portugal and France will be played from noon, on a large side track, but not on the central one. Instead, it is the confrontation Spain vs Sweden which will be held on the main track. For a bit of spectacle and competition, it seems that the central track is not the right place…
