The Junior World Padel Championships (September 29 – October 5) are currently taking place in Reus, Spain. The French boys' team has had a convincing run so far. After a perfectly negotiated group stage and a quarter-final victory against Paraguay, the Bleuets have secured their place in the semi-finals, where they will face Argentina.

A collective shaped by My Center

Notable feature of this selection: “ five of the six French starters come from the Team My Center Academy The academy offers comprehensive support, combining technical training, physical preparation, mental support, academic and nutritional monitoring. The results recorded today are the direct result of this long-term work,” the academy explains.

A solid run to the final four

In the group stage, France dominated its opponents with three clear wins: 3-0 against the Netherlands, 3-0 against Portugal, and 3-0 against Sweden. In the quarter-finals, the French confirmed their strength with another 3-0 victory against Paraguay. The clash against Argentina, a world leader in the youth categories, promises to be a first real test.

Performances also in Open

Alongside the team competition, some French players are also shining in the U18 Open pairs competition. This is the case for  Yoan Boronad and Timéo Fonteny , who reached the semi-finals after a solid run. The pair, seeded No. 8, could even claim a place in the final against the Spanish favorites.
