The men's final of the Premier Padel Buenos Aires P1 brings together two very different dynamics: on the one hand, Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia, the world's number 1 and ultra-dominant pair for over a year. On the other, Paquito Navarro and Lucas Bergamini, outsiders ranked number 7, who are having a remarkable tournament.
Coello / Tapia: figures that command respect
The stats are clear: Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia have already won three titles in 2025 (Riyadh, Qatar, Brussels) and count 27 finals for 22 titles together on the circuit Premier Padel. They have only lost one final against a team outside the top 3, during the last Masters at the end of the year, against the number 5 seeds. The Spanish-Argentine duo, already crowned in Argentina in 2023 (Mendoza P1), will try to continue their domination on the circuit.
A sign of their exceptional regularity: they have never chained three P1 without a title, which adds extra pressure in case of defeat in Buenos Aires.

Navarro / Bergamini: a heroic journey
On the side of Paquito Navarro and Lucas Bergamini, the context is completely different. No title or final in 2025 so far. Yet their run this week has been impressive: they have eliminated ranked pairs one after the other. No. 4 in Qatar, No. 3 in Brussels, and No. 2 in Buenos Aires. Winning in the final against Coello / Tapia (n°1) would allow them to make a Grand Chelem big shots on a single tournament.
A victory would make them the lowest ranked pair (No. 7) to win a title on the circuit Premier Padel. It would also be the first title for Lucas Bergamini, unfortunate finalist in Milan (2022) and New Giza (2024). He would become the second non-Argentine or Spanish player to win on Premier Padel, after Pablo Lima.
For Paquito, this title would have a special flavor: He has been waiting for a victory on the circuit for more than 1 daysEither since the Qatar Major 2022. At 35 years old, he would become the second oldest player to accumulate several titles Premier Padel, just behind Lima, crowned at 36 years and 8 months.
A double-edged duel
The two teams faced each other twice in 2025or a Miami et Brussels, with each time a Coello / Tapia victoryThe Buenos Aires final therefore offers Navarro / Bergamini a opportunity for revenge, but above all, a chance to write a page of history.

On the other side, Coello and Tapia will not want to leave Argentina without a new trophy, after having failed in the final in Mar del Plata.
Pressure, experience, momentum: everything seems to oppose these two pairs. It remains to be seen which one will prevail in this duel with the appearance of a transfer or confirmation.
