The first men's semi-final du Premier Padel Qatar Major 2025 will oppose the world number 1, Agustín Tapia et Arturo Coello, to the Spanish pair composed of Coki Nieto et mike yanguas, ranked number 3.

A slight advantage in direct confrontations

The two teams have only met once on the circuit. Premier Padel, during the semi-finals of the Riyadh P1, where Tapia and Coello had won. The head-to-head is therefore in favor of the number 1 seed: 1-0.

Tapia / Coello: a constant dynamic

After having won their first title of the season in Riyadh, the Argentinians continue their momentum. Since their association, one statistic is impressive: they have never missed two consecutive finals on the circuit Premier Padel. The only final of a Major that they missed remains that of the Qatar 2023, which gives them extra motivation to shine in Doha this year.

Nieto / Yanguas: promising regularity, but without a title

On their side, Nieto and Yanguas started the 2025 season with a beautiful consistency, reaching the semi-finals in each of the first four tournaments : Riyadh, Miami, Santiago and now Doha. However, they have not yet lifted a trophy this season. For mike yanguas, the task will be particularly difficult: he has never beat the Tapia/Coello duo. As for Coki Nieto, he hopes play his first Major final in career on the circuit Premier Padel.
