Amiens is preparing to welcome a new innovative padel complex, Amiens Padel, with the opening planned for the first half of 2025. This project, led by five passionate partners, aims to meet growing demand in the metropolis. Pierre Damette, one of the founding partners, presents this ambitious initiative to us.
The history of the project
Project Amiens Padel was born from a simple observation: “the existing padel offer in Amiens is insufficient in the face of a rapidly expanding practice". Pierre Damette Explain : “We were having trouble booking slots to play with friends. The idea of creating a specialized complex came naturally.”
Made up of five partners, three of whom are already entrepreneurs, the group is organized around the skills of each: administrative management, financing, BtoB development, monitoring of works and operational management. One team at a time complete and complementary to complete this project.
A complex designed for the player experience

A strong ambition for padel in Amiens
Amiens Padel is not limited to the creation of a sports complex. The objective is to democratize padel and satisfy both regular fans and neophytes. To this end, the project offers a varied offer: courses with certified coaches, tournaments of all levels, courses for adults and children, inter-company competitions, seminars, special events, hosting groups and schools. The complex will also be affiliated with the FFT with the creation of a club and an academy.
An opening planned for January 2025
The current site, consisting of a 700 m² building, will house the clubhouse, the central track and the changing rooms. A 1 m² extension is underway to accommodate the other tracks. The work, which began a month ago, should be completed by the end of December for an opening scheduled for January 400. The precise date will be announced in the coming weeks. With this project, Amiens Padel intends to make Amiens a new nerve center for padel in France.
