This is the big new feature that will arrive in 2026: the national 2 ! An intermediate competition that will complement the major tournaments of the year. National 2 will be like a “league 2” in football, allowing certain clubs to defend their chances elsewhere than in National 1.

So, who will play in the National 2?

At men's :

  • The clubs ranked 2nd to 8th of each Interregional Conference (East and West) 2025 will constitute the National 2
  • Ranked clubs 15th and 16th of the National 1

In women:

  • The clubs ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th of each Interregional Conference 2025 will constitute the National 2
  • Ranked clubs 7th and 8th of the National 1

There are still some adjustments to be made for the FFT in order to make the National 2 a reality. For the time being, we also do not know which category the N2 will represent. As a reminder, the National 1 will become a P1500 (and no longer P2000) and the Interregional Conferences are P1000.

The FFT team still has more than a year to work on setting up this famous National 2 which will bring a lot of new features to the world of padel in France!
