It’s a Milestone au NEWGIZA PREMIER PADEL P2 : Tino Libaak et Fernando Belasteguin have won their first match together on the professional circuit. However, the draw was not kind, with the number 7 seed inheriting a particularly dangerous pair: Alex Chozas et Leandro AugsburgerThis match almost had the feel of a family reunion between the four Argentines, since Libaak et Augsburgers have played together for a long time, notably on theAPT Padel Tour (formerly A1Padel).

Victory therefore for Bela / Libaak : 6 / 4 6 / 3They now head to the round of 16 of the Egyptian tournament, where they will face either Fran Guerrero / Jairo Bautista, the pair in form at the moment after their double at Lyon et Marbella, or the lucky loser pair Sastre / Lamperti.

To understand the importance of this event for Libaak et White, their recent journey must be put into perspective. This P2 could well be the tournament that relaunches them at the end of the season.

Indeed, White et Libaak were coming off two first-round eliminations, one of which was particularly memorable: their surprise defeat at Paris Major face Marc Quilez et Federico Mourino three weeks ago. After this match, Bela had simply confided: “I was not at the level”. Federico Mourino seemed almost embarrassed by this victory, so much so White, nicknamed the “king”, is an icon apart in the world of padel.

Let's hope that this first victory with Libaak marks the beginning of a great adventure for this pair, and that they can finish the season in style.
