Unlike the men's draw, which was marked by several surprises, the women's quarter-finals of the Newgiza Premier Padel P2 generally followed the logic.  The main contenders for the title secured their places in the semi-finals this morning in Egypt. The only real upset was the elimination of the pair  Araújo / Fernández , beaten by  Marta Ortega and Martina Calvo , authors of a great performance to reach the semi-finals.

 Marta Ortega and Martina Calvo continue their wonderful week in Egypt.  The No. 6 seed secured a solid victory against  Sofia Araújo and Claudia Fernández , at the end of a hard-fought match won  6/0 4/6 6/2  in just under two hours.

After a perfectly controlled first set, the Spanish pair saw their opponents respond in the second. But Ortega and Calvo managed to regain control in the third set to secure their place in the semi-finals.

They will find there  world number ones Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay , who left no chance to  Marina Guinart and Veronica Virseda The league leaders showcased their padel skills to secure the victory.  6 / 0 6 / 2 , confirming their status as overwhelming favorites in the tournament.
