The top two seeds lived up to expectations perfectly this Friday at   P2 of   Newgiza .  Gemma Triay  et  Delfi Brea  as  Bea González  et  Paula Josemaría  They left no chance for their respective opponents in the semi-finals. The world number ones dominated  Ortega / Calvo, 6/0, 6/3 , while González / Josemaría gained the upper hand over Sánchez / Ustero,  6/2, 6/3.  The two best pairs in the FIP rankings will thus meet  in the final for the third consecutive time. 

González / Josemaría take the lead against Sánchez / Ustero

The first semi-final opposed  Bea González and Paula Josemaría  à  Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero , a match that is already establishing itself as one of the great duels of the early season.

After a confrontation won by Sánchez / Ustero  Gijón , then a rematch between González and Josemaría at  Miami The two pairs met again for a third act in 2026. This time, the balance clearly tips in favor of the world number two pair.

Very solid and focused from start to finish, González and Josemaría prevailed.  6 / 2 6 / 3 controlling the pace of the match. While Ari Sánchez attempted to bring stability to the pair,  Andrea Ustero has been more inconsistent than in her recent matches. , which Bea and Paula were able to take advantage of.

In the other semi-final,  Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea  delivered a near-perfect performance against  Marta Ortega and Martina Calvo .

The world number ones quickly took control of the match, stifling their opponents with consistent intensity and pinpoint accuracy. The first set turned into a demonstration with a  6/0  expeditious.

Ortega and Calvo tried to respond in the second set, but Triay and Brea remained unperturbed to finish  6/3 .

This victory confirms their impressive consistency.  They will be playing in a fourth consecutive final  This season. Unperturbed.

The final of  Newgiza P2  will therefore offer a new duel between  the two best pairs in the FIP ranking .

Triay/Brea and González/Josemaría are starting to establish a rivalry that shapes the beginning of the season. After several hard-fought matches in recent months, this final will be  the third consecutive match between the two pairs on the circuit Premier Padel .
