Le Paris Premier Padel Major at the Roland-Garros stadium!
The French Tennis Federation (FFT) and Premier Padel, the official world circuit of padel managed by the International Federation of Padel (FIP), supported by the Professional Association of Padel (PPA) and Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), are proud to announce that the Roland-Garros stadium will host the Paris Premier Padel Major from July 11 to 17, 2022, as part of a multi-year agreement.

Appointment of the captains of the French teams
Great news for the French men's team: Pablo Ayma has been named captain. With his experience in Spain, his mission will be to make the team competitive against the best nations (Spain, Argentina). Robin Haziza, meanwhile, is renewed in his role as captain for the French women's team.

Beautiful perfs in Las Vegas!
During the more organized senior world championships in Las Vegas, the French ladies' team managed to clinch a very good third place. P2000: the first winners!
For the first P2000 of the season, it was the Collombon-Godallier pairs for the ladies and Blanqué-Leygue for the men who won this stage. Objective 1000 additional leads by 2024
The FFT has signed a framework agreement with the National Sports Agency aimed at supporting the creation of 1000 additional tracks by 2024. 500 tracks will be subsidized by the ANS and 500 via the ADCP.

Interclubs: those selected for National 1
For the launch of the first interclubs padel, the various clubs of the territory had the opportunity to apply to participate in the National 1, the most exclusive division of these championships. Sixteen men's teams and eight women's teams were selected. You can consult the list of selected teams on the FFT website.

The qualifiers for the French championships
The list of automatically qualified pairs for the 2022 French senior championships was unveiled on Friday April 1.

Operation discovery at the UNSS
Organized by the FFT and the UNSS, the open days padel of March 31 and April 3 allowed organizers of UNSS sports associations to come and discover the padel. Following this operation, specific resources can be provided on request to support the implementation of the padel within sports associations.

Lagord: university convention
Since the start of the school year last September, the Lagord Tennis Squash and the University of La Rochelle have signed an agreement to allow students from La Rochelle to discover and practice padel Thursday afternoon from 14 p.m. to 17 p.m. An initiative that brings together a dozen students for these weekly sessions supervised by a padel.

Expansion of padel in Dordogne
Le padel continues its development in France and more particularly in the Dordogne. The committee has 175 licensees and relies on 4 schools of padel to teach the practice to young people and adults. This enthusiasm has led the committee to propose several competitions. And for 2023, the rehabilitation of the departmental center is planned to include 2 covered tracks.

Du padel for companies
The Seine-Maritime committee initiated the discovery of padel with several companies. Gathered within the Normandy league center, the 6 companies were able to take advantage of this activity for 2 hours under the supervision of François Proust, referent padel of the league. An interesting initiative to be repeated soon.

Training padel in the Yvelines
As part of its mission to support clubs, the Yvelines committee organized training on running a project padel March 19 and 20. This training, led by Cédric Carité, trainer of the Padel Tennis Academy, brought together 15 leaders who represented 12 clubs from the Yvelines committee.
