Ready to see the best players of padel compete in a Roland-Garros stadium like you've never seen it before? We give you an appointment from July 11 to 17 to attend this exceptional event which will bring together all the best players in the world. Show on the slopes, friendly atmosphere outside the slopes, rediscover the spirit of padel through entertainment at the foot of the Philippe-Chatrier court. Licensees will benefit from a pre-sale from May 24 to 26 with a price between €20 and €50 for the best seats on the Philippe-Chatrier court. The general public ticket office will open on May 27. On Sunday July 10, the qualifications will be accessible at a single price of €10!

Licence padel in September

At the general meeting of the FFT on April 2, the license reform was adopted by 81,32% of the votes. Among the axes of this reform, the creation of a license padel. It will be offered at a price of 20 euros and the clubs will keep a financial share of 2 euros for each of the licenses. padel delivered. Great news for the community padel !

The number of national federations part of the International Federation of Padel (FIP). During its Annual General Assembly, attended by Eric Largeron and Arnaud Di Pasquale for France, the FIP also announced the forthcoming membership of 19 other national federations. Mas P2000: the winners
The second edition of the P2000 took place at the Mas club in Perpignan from May 13 to 15. An audience that came in large numbers, exciting matches and unprecedented winners!
Among the ladies, Mélissa MARTIN and Amélie DETRIVIERE won after a 2h30 match! Among the men, Yann AURADOU and Manuel VIVES also won the title.

P500 Youth: a first in Perpignan!
The mission Padel and the Mas club proposed the first youth P500 in history, at the same time as the P2000. Among the girls, Julie FERRARA (PCA) and Thaïs BAULARD PANICHI (PCA) won the first edition of the P500 and among the boys it was Timéo FONTENY (PCA) and Yoan BORONAD (OCC) who emerged victorious.

U14 national rally
A first national gathering brought together 21 young people (14 boys and 7 girls) at the Central club Padel from Perpignan. They were selected by the category managers at the Mission Padel (Alexia DECHAUME, Christian COLLANGE, Yann AURADOU and Marianne VANDAELE) and in collaboration with the Leagues Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Hauts de France, Ile de France, Normandy, Occitanie, Pays de la Loire, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Reunion.

What's up ?

Come play at padel at Roland-Garros
The FFT has decided to relaunch its track of padel during the Roland-Garros tournament. The public will have the opportunity to discover this track on court N°5 from June 1 to 5, 2022. Many activities will be planned as well as the possibility of coming to play there: rackets and balls available as well as supervision by qualified teachers.

A major of padel Italy
In the continuity of its development, the circuit Premier Padel announced the organization of the Italy Premier Padel Major ". This major will take place from May 21 to 29, 2022 at the Foro Italico in Rome with a record prize pool. This major will precede the one organized by the FFT at the Roland-Garros stadium from July 11 to 17, 2022, the opening of the ticket office of which is scheduled for the week of May 23.

French Senior Championships 2022
Following the approval of the National Council of Padel, French Senior Pair Championships 2022 will take place from October 21 to 23, 2022 (location to be confirmed). Initially scheduled for these dates, the National 1 French Interclub Championships have been changed to December 9, 10 and 11 and will take place in Toulouse. Padel Club. Evolution minimum tournament thresholds
Faced with the success of the tournaments padel, and with a view to offering ever more qualitative tests, the National Council of Padel voted to raise the minimum thresholds for the number of pairs in all tournaments, only for men's events. For example, a P250 should have at least 12 pairs. This change will come into effect on July 1, 2022..

Benny The Shoes Challenge
Friday April 22 was held at the Pontivy League Center on Benny The Shoes Challenge. This multi-practice and multi-audience day was an opportunity to organize an approved tennis competition and padel. A beautiful complementarity of practices and a beautiful tribute to one of the trainees of the DEJEPS Training Center who died in March 2022.

Discovery Operation
The Bourgogne Franche-Comté Tennis League, the FFT and the Spoon Center of Thise, will take advantage of the "Ladies Golden Spoon", a P1000 tournament, to offer an introduction to padel for women of all ages, licensed or not, on Friday evening May 20. An opportunity to discover the practice and rub shoulders with the best French players of padel.

Monitoring of the 500 tracks convention
During a webinar on May 5 between the ANS, the FFT, the Regional League Development Managers and the DRAJES referents, it was recalled that a priority examination of the files padel would be carried out within the framework of the agreement signed between the ANS and the FFT. In addition, the geographical eligibility criteria and the free and open access conditions have been harmonised.

Training

Training of trainers in TFP
The next train-the-trainer session will take place on July 6, 7 and 8, 2022 at the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Tennis League.

New Aquitaine
The Training Center organized its first three training sessions at the DFMP during the April holidays on the My PADEL BREDE 33, TC PAU 64 and 4PADEL of LIMOGES 87. A total of 29 trainees were able to benefit from this training. Upcoming DMFP training in June before the launch of the TFP in January 2023.

Bale
The League will soon offer a DFMP session from June 20 to 24, 2022, and a new TFP session from September 19, 2022 to April 11, 2023. If you are interested, registration files are open for both sessions.

Britain
The League has included 2 days of training for future DEs as part of the DEJEPS Training Center in Pontivy. The 10 trainees were able to see the growth of the Padel in France and more particularly in Brittany. Following this intervention, 3 of them signed up for DFMP 2022 training organized next May and June.
